Fashion Redux

Put on by the San Diego History Center and Mesa College School of Fashion & Design, Fashion Redux: 90 Years of Fashion is an exhibition that looks back on nine decades of San Diego fashion. Featuring historical garments from the History Center’s extensive textile collection paired with history-inspired garments created by Mesa College fashion students, the exhibition will also feature a live fashion show on April 26, from 6-9pm. The Fashion Gala will include a chic 21+ reception, lecture by fashion expert Susan Lazear, and a unique, historically-inspired fashion show where student garments, displayed on live models, will be voted on for the coveted People’s Choice Award. 619.232.6203, sandiegohistory.org/exhibition/fashion-redux-2018
