California Surf Museum Gala

The California Surf Museum will hold its 10th Annual Gala Fundraiser at Carlsbad’s Cape Rey Resort. Legendary Pipeline master Gerry Lopez, one of the most iconic surfers in history, and Jericho Poppler, surfing champion and advocate for women’s surfing, are this year’s guests of honor. Fernando Aguerre, president of the International Surfing Association, will also be honored for his contribution to bringing surfing into the Olympics. A special set of collector Pipeline surfboards will be auctioned off at the gala, shaped specifically for the event in tribute to Lopez by some of the world’s most prestigious shapers. 760.721.6876, surfmuseum.org
