Cognition Ignition offers cognitive therapy for children and adults with learning issues, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, brain injuries, and more. David “Beba” Witkowski, PhD founded his Encinitas-based practice in 2000, and works with clients utilizing his own cognitive therapy system that employs a variety of methods including Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment. “My work resonates to the brain via brain exercises, and the brain itself then makes all the necessary corrections and restructures itself,” he says.
Witkowski’s yearning to help children and adults find their way in life inspired him to create Cognition Ignition. “I help take my clients from a foggy and broken brain and move them forward with new confidence, so they can achieve a meaningful and successful, rewarding life,” says Witkowski. “It’s about enabling my students and clients to get as far as possible to reach their potential.”
The testimonials from parents are heartwarming. “How powerful when I hear a mother proclaiming, ‘Thank you for giving me my child back,’” he explains. Witkowski’s work goes beyond improvements and delivers real, lasting results. “And of course all without the use of medications,” he says. “I find myself on a mission to help people in need.” 760.436.2408, cognitionignition.com
