This spring, Irma Cota will be retiring as President and CEO of North County Health Services, which she has led since 1997. When Cota arrived at NCHS, she embodied a passion and commitment to make healthcare accessible to as many individuals as possible, regardless of their background. She worked tirelessly to expand NCHS services throughout North County and now also in Riverside County. Today, NCHS operates 13 health centers, serving more than 65,000 patients and 314,000 visits in 2017. NCHS has also been the recipient of countless awards and supports a workforce of more than 700 individuals.
