Diamond Ball
Dana Carvey headlined Tri-City Hospital Foundation’s 37th Annual Diamond Ball at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa. The gala welcomed 320 guests and raised nearly $300,000 to bring the most advanced 3D mammography screening technology to Tri-City Medical Center. Oceanside residents Kevin and Ellen Stotmeister were honored with the Individual Legacy Award; San Diego Imaging was honored with the Group Legacy Award. Carvey’s act kept the audience laughing with favorite impressions including George H. W. Bush and the Church Lady. On signing on to entertain at the event, he said, “I’m like anyone else — if you have a large extended family, you’re going to [be affected by] cancer.”
