Nordstrom’s New UTC Store
After 33 years of serving the La Jolla community, Nordstrom is set to open a brand-new store at Westfield UTC on Thursday, October 12, at 10am. Ranch & Coast toured the new 145,000-square-foot store and got a sneak peek of the updated shopping experience, which includes new brands (8 designer boutiques) and services (beauty concierge; full-service restaurant and bar).
The two-level Nordstrom La Jolla at UTC now features:
- An updated modern shopping experience featuring new store design concepts and ample natural light
- Expanded fashion offerings for women, men and kids: five shoe departments, popular and limited-distribution brands like Topshop, Madewell, and J. Crew, eight designer handbag and apparel boutiques from Gucci, Chloe, Saint Laurent and Valentino
- SPACE, a boutique housing advanced and emerging designer collections such as Comme des Garcons, Acne, Junya Watanabe, Molly Goddard and Undercover
- Beauty Concierge for customer questions and booking appointments and new brands Tom Ford, Charlotte Tilbury, Armani, Chantecaille, Le Labo, Jo Malone, Diptyque, Atelier Cologne, and more
- Two in-house food options: Bazille, a full-service restaurant and bar; and an espresso bar (tour will conclude with a menu tasting in Bazille
- Extensive store services, including a shoe sine stand, and Reserve Online & Try in Store and Buy Online & Pick Up in Store, which bridges the convenience of online shopping with the personal store experience
