Urban Campout
September 15, 2017
Girl Scouts San Diego’s 20th annual “fun fundraiser for grown-ups” salutes a century of local Girl Scouting. Guests will gather under the stars at Girl Scout headquarters in Balboa Park to help fund programs focused on leadership experience and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). Urban Campout guests will explore the organization’s history by earning “badges” for participation in games and archery. The event features gourmet fare, s’mores around the campfire, and live music by The Suffragettes, an all-woman band. Longtime Girl Scout volunteer Katie Sullivan is co-chairing the honorary committee with her daughters, Sarah Houghton, Megan Delgado, and Lindsay Estrada. Liza Crisafi heads the event committee. 619.610.0807, sdgirlscouts.org/uccall
