Sea Breeze Mercantile

Posted on June 13, 2017

Sea Breeze Mercantile in the Cedros Design District is filled with coastal-inspired home décor, tabletop, linens, gifts, and more. Owners Shirley and Chris Cordner were school administrators in Temecula before retiring to Solana Beach, where Chris grew up. After traveling and remodeling their house, the couple asked themselves, “Now what?” When they learned that Polo Bay Consignment was closing, the Cordners had their answer. Their shop carries everything you need for summer entertaining, including pillows, placemats, napkins, napkin rings, and runners. Acrylic tableware in whimsical starfish and octopus patterns is perfect for outdoor dining, along with hurricane lamps and votive candles. The boutique also stocks booties, bibs, and books for babies, as well as jewelry, scarves, and Shirley’s beautiful handcrafted greeting cards. “We have a space with our signature,” she says. “It’s a place to be authentic and creative, and have fun at the same time.” 858.847.2484, seabreezeoncedros.com
