Friends of the Badge Luncheon

Join San Diego Police Chief Shelley Zimmerman and “America’s Finest” officers for the Friends of the Badge Luncheon 2017 at the San Diego Convention Center. This year’s event is themed “Safety for All” and will highlight successful, innovative, and heartwarming examples of how community members and police work together for a safer San Diego. At the event, the Police Foundation will showcase what police officers do and how they do it, as well as offer the opportunity to talk one-on-one with police officers. Actual police vehicles, technology, tools, and equipment used every day by the SDPD will be on display. Special event highlights include appearances by the SWAT team, Motorcycles Unit, Homeless Outreach Team, Family Justice Center, and K-9 Unit. 619.232.2130, sdpolicefoundation.org
