Mama’s Day

The 26th annual Mama’s Day at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine will feature more than 55 chefs from San Diego’s finest restaurants, hotels, and catering companies who will prepare tastes for the evening’s attendees. Proceeds will help to raise critical funds for Mama’s Kitchen’s mission to deliver hot, nutritious meals free of charge to local men, women, and children affected by AIDS or cancer. This year’s event is chaired by longtime volunteer Jennifer Kearns, who served Mama’s Kitchen as a donor and board member from 2004 to 2010, as well as president of the board in 2007 and Mama’s Day co-chair in 2010. 619.233.6262, mamaskitchen.org
