After an eight-year hiatus, the 2017 Red Bull Air Race World Championship returns to San Diego April 15-16. The world’s best race pilots will come together for a pure motorsport competition that combines speed, precision, and skill. Using the fastest, most agile, and lightweight racing planes, pilots navigate a low-level aerial track directly over the water on San Diego Bay through a course of air-filled pylons 82-feet high at speeds of up to 230 mph.
