San Diego Opera Gala 2017

San Diego Opera hosted “It’s A New Day,” an evening of fine dining, drinks, and a variety of entertainment at the Broadway Pier. The event was designed by James Darrah, founder of Chromatic, a Los Angeles-based collective of interdisciplinary artists who collaborate to create aesthetic theatrical events across blurred mediums. An immersive experience transported audience members and delighted their senses via video, lighting, multimedia technology, and live performance. The gala honored the contributions to the community by Kathryn and John Hattox, longtime supporters of San Diego Opera.
