Master Gardener Spring Seminar
March 18, 2017
Drought-tolerant cottage gardens, growing vegetables in buckets of water, and the best plants for hillsides and slopes are just some of the gardening topics slated for this year’s University of California Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program of San Diego County’s Spring Seminar. Themed “Growing Together — Gardening for a Better Tomorrow,” the seminar offers an impressive lineup of speakers from across the county. Hands-on instruction from San Diego’s Master Gardeners will cover more than 15 topics including the best backyard fruit trees and water-wise plants. In addition, garden art and hand-made birdhouses created by the master gardeners will be for sale. 858.822.6910, mastergardenerssandiego.org/seminar
