Designer Territa Torres’s innovative silhouettes and functional looks with a chic, edgy twist took top honors at Fashion Week San Diego. FWSD featured 26 designers during four days of runway shows and special events in La Jolla. RACA Designs, known for creating custom salsa costumes for professional dancers, came in second with a line of intricate gowns in vibrant colors. Third place went to Jaded Marie, whose unique designs included a stunning, fitted velvet gown. Allison Andrews founded Fashion Week San Diego in 2012 to promote emerging designers by connecting them directly with customers through events, social media, and sales opportunities. fashionweeksd.com
