Tri-City Hospital Foundation’s annual gala, taking place at Omni La Costa Resort, will feature the legendary Jay Leno at this year’s Diamond Ball to raise funds for Tri-City Medical Center. Best known as the former Tonight Show host, Leno has also earned broad appeal as a stand-up comedian, best-selling children’s book author, pioneering car builder and mechanic, and philanthropist. His latest venture, Jay Leno’s Garage, has gained an international following on the Web, not to mention an Emmy Award and two additional nominations for Outstanding Special Class–Short-Format Nonfiction Programs. “It’s going to be an amazing evening as Jay entertains and honors the spirit of philanthropy that helped found and sustains exceptional healthcare in our community,” says Glen Newhart, President of the Tri-City Hospital Foundation.
